941 Tiles ("the App") is a window management app for macOS, developed by 941 Apps LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Summary: 941 Tiles collects nothing. Your data stays on your Mac.

Data We Do NOT Collect

941 Tiles does not:

  • Collect any personal information
  • Read window contents or record which documents you work on
  • Access your files or documents
  • Record which applications you use

How Windows Are Arranged

941 Tiles is fully sandboxed and arranges windows through its companion Shortcut — Apple's supported mechanism for App Store apps. During setup you install the Shortcut once and approve one automation prompt. From then on:

  • Reading layout: 941 Tiles reads on-screen window positions and sizes from macOS to build its menu and compute the grid
  • Moving windows: Apple's Shortcuts system performs the actual window arrangement using Apple's own Move Window and Resize Window actions

This happens only when you explicitly request it (or per-app with Watch mode, which you enable yourself). 941 Tiles does not monitor your activity, read window contents, or log any information.

Local Operation

941 Tiles operates entirely on your device. There are:

  • No network connections
  • No cloud services
  • No accounts required
  • No data stored beyond your preferences (gap size setting)

Third-Party Services

941 Tiles does not integrate with any third-party services or share data with any third parties.

Children's Privacy

941 Tiles does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users through the app.

Anonymous App Diagnostics

To keep 941 Tiles reliable, the app sends us a small amount of anonymous diagnostic and usage data: crash reports and counts of feature use (for example, “windows were tiled”). These contain no identifiers, no window titles, and no app names — we cannot link them to you or your Mac, and we don’t try. They are processed on our own infrastructure (Cloudflare), used solely to fix crashes and improve the app, and never shared or sold. You can turn this off any time in the About window; the switch takes effect immediately.
